Online Supporting Information
Online Supporing Infomation A. The benchmark dataset used to discriminate secretory proteins from non-secretory proteins and identify the signal peptides of the secretory proteins. Please download the bencharmk dataset by click Supp-A.pdf.

Online Supporing Infomation B. In order to further support the demand of the related areas, the signal peptides identified by Signal-3L for all the protein entries in Swiss Prot databank that do not have signal peptide annotations or are annotated with uncertain terms but are classified by Signal-3L as secretory proteins are provided.

    The results thus obtained have filled the blank area in signal peptide for 4,080 human proteins, 3,124 plant proteins, 13,527 animal proteins, 6,165 other eukaryotic proteins, 5,418 Gram-positive proteins, and 13,790 Gram-negative.

    Please click Tab-Signal-3L.xls to download its XLS format file or clike the following 6 PDF subset results:

(1) human.pdf; (2) plant.pdf; (3) animal.pdf; (4) other eukaryotic.pdf; (5) Gram-positive.pdf; (6) Gram-negative.pdf;

The large-scale results will be updated once a year to include new protein entries and reflect the continuous development of Signa-3L.
