Predicting protein-protein interactions based on adaptive compressed sensing
CSPred-PPI package is a Linux based easy-to-use and efficient software for prediction of protein-protein interactions of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae based on compressed sensing theory. Firstly it constructs sequential feature vector based on auto covariance (AC). Secondly, compressive sampling algorithm is used to transform original feature vector to lower feature vector in measurement space. Finally, statistical learning algorithm-support vector machine (SVM) is employed to predict whether protein pairs are interacting or not.
